Usually high-definition movies and video ads are designed to 16: 9 or 4: 3 ratio, so the proportion of conventional display is generally in accordance with the ratio of 16: 9 or 4: 3 design. Customer gives the designated area , how to calculate the width and height of the display?

Take 50sqm led screen as a sample:

(1) the entire screen area of 50 square meters, according to the ratio of 16: 9; width is set to 16x, the height is set to 9x;

Calculation formula:

16x * 9x = 50

x2 = 50/144

x = √ 50/144 = 0.59

Length = 16x = 16 * 0.59 = 9.44m, Height = 9x = 9 * 0.59 = 5.31m

(2) the entire screen area of 50 square meters, according to 4: 3 ratio; width is set to 4x, the height is set to 3x;

Calculation formula:

4x * 3x = 50

x2 = 50/12

x = √ 50/12 = 2.04

Width = 4x = 4 * 2.04 = 8.16m, Height = 3x = 3 * 2.04 = 6.12m
